About the Chemistry Core
The IBNAM Chemistry Core Facility
is a dedicated peptide synthesis facility for IBNAM
members, NU researchers, and other local academic and
commercial labs. The facility centralizes equipment
used in synthesizing, purifying, and characterizing
peptide-based scaffold/matrix materials. These biomaterials
have broad applications for research in regenerative
medicine. Two full-time staff members are available
to provide training, services, and assistance to self-service
users.
Our main expertise centers on the synthesis, purification and characterization of peptide-based materials. We provide a range of mass spectrometry based services.
The Chemistry Core is located at the Robert H. Lurie Medical Research Center on Northwestern University’s Chicago Campus.
