Funding Opportunities

IBNAM-Baxter Research Incubator Program

The IBNAM-Baxter Research Incubator Program provides seed funding for  innovative interdisciplinary research projects in bionanomedicine.  It  allows Northwestern faculty members to launch exploratory and high-risk research that promises to lead to external funding.

Eligibility:  Any Northwestern faculty member with the skills and knowledge necessary to serve as the Principal Investigator may submit an application. Inter-campus applications bringing together clinical faculty with engineering and/or basic science faculty are encouraged.  IBNAM is particularly interested in projects that require the use of the Institute's facilities in the R. H. Lurie Medical Research Building on the Chicago campus.
