Research Study Programs Coordinator II Specific duties include assisting in locating and researching new funding opportunities, gathering data on new conceptual projects and collaborations, and coordinating special projects, events, and activities. Additional duties involve assisting in creating technical presentations, posters, flyers, and other materials used to promote IBNAM events and activities, including assisting in creating content, designing layout, updating, and maintaining IBNAM websites. This position also assists in maintaining shared capital equipment and the IBNAM laboratory facilities, approving users and providing technical support for the IBNAM Core Facilities electronic reservation and billing system, and assisting faculty, students, and staff with general computer IT support. Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience from which comparable skills and abilities may be acquired, previous experience working in an academic office administrative setting, experience working in a laboratory or technical environment, experience in maintaining websites and providing IT support. Skills and other requirements include demonstrated initiative, the ability to work independently or on team projects, effective time management strategies, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
